Danbury Police Cadets is a program based on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth and the Danbury Police Department. The Danbury Police Department’s Cadet Program is a leadership development program of various community service based activities that help participating youth pursue their special interests, grow, and develop.
While many of our Cadets are passionate about a career in various law enforcement fields, the majority of our Cadets are looking to make a positive impact in their local community. By working with our Department, they have the opportunity to learn about policing efforts from industry professionals, build relationships with youth and adults from vastly different walks of life, and proudly serve their city as a public servant.
